The Trump Administration announced its intention to roll back copay-free birth control. We need to make our voices heard -- and to let our elected representatives know we can't afford to lose control.
ASK A QUESTION
Need help with what to say? Here are some ideas.
Would you support Congressional legislation to preserve birth control?Senator Patty Murray introduced legislation to protect copay free birth control by requiring insurers to cover it. Have you signed on to support it? If not, why not?
Do you stand by the Trump Administration's efforts to roll back copay free birth control? If not, what are you going to do about it?President Trump directed Health and Human Services to re-examine the copay-free contraception benefit -- and they have issued new rules rescinding the benefit. Currently 1 in 3 women say they could not afford to pay more than $10 for birth control if they had to buy it today, and the cost of birth control would increase by as much as $1,100 per year if copay-free birth control goes away. This will affect many of the 62.4 million women who currently benefit from the copay-free birth control provision. Is this really what you want for your female constituents?
